Breastfeeding

As a preemie, we did face a little adversity with breastfeeding. Our baby had a somewhat shallow latch for her tiny size and was very lethargic from both jaundice and just being a normal preemie. She rebounded well and turned into a nursing champ. She is up significantly in weight and was always exclusively breastfed. We never experienced typical breastfeeding issues like thrush, mastitis, clogged ducts, sore or cracked nipples, or really anything. I consider myself blessed and lucky to have had such an easy time with this. Our only issues came from refusing to latch when tired or frustrated, refusing all forms of pacis and bottles, and round the clock cluster feeding but we are extremely lucky. I have quite the freezer stash built up but don't have a lot of use for it  yet as she really hates the bottle. As a SAHM, I don't use it very often either.
